The Bridge

For over 100 million fans globally, Stamford Bridge is more than a stadium — it’s a sacred home.

“The Bridge” reveals how Chelsea Football Club, one of the UK’s biggest clubs, becomes a lifelong bond, shaping lives far beyond the pitch.

A documentary that flips traditional sports content on their head, focusing on the people in the stands instead of those on the field or the boardrooms.

Every Step of the Way

“The Bridge” started as an idea with my godfather over a dinner in New York: let’s make a documentary about Chelsea football (soccer) fans. Maybe a crazy idea but we thought… what if we just… did it. We took the risk and dove in head first.

I moved to London to run on the ground production and logistics. I started by hiring a small but mighty team consisting of director, researcher, casting producer and a camera team. After months of casting, shooting, editing, we completed a 78-minute documentary that showcases strong and emotional fan narratives through a captivating cinematic style.

This film was independently funded and produced which meant getting my hands dirty through every phase, tackling every challenge head on, managing complex relationships, and keeping morale high and eyes on the finish line. It involved thinking on the fly and jumping into uncomfortable situations to deliver a film worth celebrating.
